REMEMBER TO PRACTICE

Fireworks Safety

Use Common Sense

Fireworks are a lot of fun but can easily cause injury if not properly handled.

Never point or throw fireworks at another person. Transport fireworks with care,  never inside a pocket or bag

Keep Your Distance

Be sure to never played any part of your body directly above the fireworks and lighting the fuse.

Light them one at a time and back up to a safe distance immediately after lighting fireworks

Know Your Local Laws

Make sure fireworks are legal in your area before buying or using them.

Light Fireworks Properly

Never attempt to re-light or pick up fireworks that haven't ignited fully. Follow the lighting instructions and set up away from dry brush or grass.

Do not try to shoot them off in metal or glass containers.

Have Water Nearby

It’s a good idea to keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby in case of fire

Keep Pets Inside

While it's a lot of fun to have our furry friends around most animals are easily frightened by the loud noises and burning smells of fireworks.

For their safety and comfort, we suggest keeping them safely inside.

Remember!

Fireworks are illegal in public lands, regardless of weather conditions.
