We LOVE macadamia nuts because of their high fat content and low carb content. Almonds come in at number two, along with pecans and walnuts. Mix them together. Go nutty with it!

Nut butter pouches are super easy to pack away. Just make sure to pack out the wrapper! When shopping look for natural butters with no sugar added for low carb content.

Cured meats are awesome if you are going for a day hike or a backpack in a colder climate. It can get a little messy in hotter climates and in that case we suggest you stick to jerky.
